I was diagnosed with ILVEN, covered with plaque psoriases at 4 years old. I always can tell when my psoriases is flared up it is usually due to my immune system fighting itself to get rid of an infection. I had broken my front tooth by using it as a tool, and that ruined my other front teeth, which led me to a partial denture. Now 15 years later, I had 2 root canals done by another dentist, 3 years after I get a bump that turned into an abscess, they wanted to save it and fix the root canal, and I wanted it out. I searched around for options. I found Dr. Colby, he is wonderful, and his team made me feel so at ease. I had two growing abscesses that I could not feel that ate my jawbone away. Dr. Colby suggested removing, cleaning, and replacing with a denture, and in a few months, I will have an affordable hybrid implant. Here are the stages. I feel great after only 17 days and no more infection. Get the Implants!

Beautiful office in a great location. I've been seeing Dr. Colby for awhile now and he's a really great dentist. He's so personable and friendly. He makes the whole procedure go by smoothly because he tells you what he will be doing to your teeth and talks with you throughout the procedure. Dr. Colby is a genuine guy and I'm so thankful he's my dentist! I highly recommend him and this office.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The office has a beautiful salt water fish tank in the lobby and the walls are painted with aquatic themed murals. Dr. Colby is great and easy to talk to. May is the sweetest, most bubbly hygienist you'll ever meet. I love this place, and highly recommend it.

I made an appointment with this office about 2 weeks ago. I gave them my insurance information. Then when I went into the office for the appointment they told me they couldn't see me because I was a HMO and so I lost money taking the 1/2 day off work and I couldn't even get my teeth cleaned or get an exam. They had plenty of time to call me and tell me that they wouldn't see me because of my insurance status. The first thing they said to me was didn't the doctor call you and I said no. Then they said he still wants to talk to you but he never came out so I just left.

During my check-up visit, I was advised that I need to have10 fillings done. I was shocked. My previous dentist said that I don't need any fillings just 6 months ago. The estimated treatment was around $2,000. I decided to get a second opinion right away.

My new dentist confirmed that I don't need any feelings. HOW CAN IT BE POSSIBLE? I felt like I was ripped off at Oceanview.

Those guys also charge for everything. I had to pay $35.00 for forwarding my XRays, although most dental offices do it for free.

I would not advice going to this dental office unless you have a lot of money. The service is still nice. But is it worth it?

First off let me start by saying that I HATE going to the dentist. It has been an issue of mine from my childhood. The sounds, the smell, the thought of even going makes me wanna turn around and go the other way.

However I recently had to get a root canal and new a crown placed from a cracked tooth and was not thrilled about going. I put it off for as long as I could until I couldn't handle the pain anymore.

I came across Oceanview Dental and was nervous about going to my appointment.
I walked in and was greeted by 3 very nice ladies. They offered me water and asked if there was anything they could get me. Right about now my nerves are starting to really kick in.

The Dental Assistant came and took me back right away and placed me in a very comfortable chair and said " dont worry I read your paperwork..... I know you don't like it here hopefully we can change that".

Dr. Hargas came in and said everything that was going to occur. He said that Nitrous Oxide would be my best friend and that it works quick and goes away quick so that I could still drive myself home.

He was very polite and said he would apply a numbing ointment on me first then come back and give me proper local anesthesia. Before he did any of that they gave me headphones and asked what kind of music I liked. She put country music on for me and I started to feel a little more relaxed.

Dr. Hargas came in and applied the gel then about 15 minutes later the actual "NEEDLE" needless to say I totally over-reacted about how much it would hurt. He shook his finger while in my mouth on the opposite side of the needle and distracted me from what he was actually doing. IT TOTALLY WORKED!! I didn't feel a thing.

Right about now the "funny gas" has kicked in I'm totally relaxed and could care less what they are about to do. I was comfortable and pain free the entire time. Before I knew it the procedure was done ( I EVEN HAD THE PERMANENT CROWN ON THE SAME DAY) so no coming back in 2 weeks to have it all done again!!!

My over-all experience was incredible, efficient, comforting oh and I forgot to mention that my chair looked out a window to the ocean?!

I would recommend them to anyone.....even of you are not skeptical of a dentist. From start to finish they had it all put together like a well-oiled machine!

They are now my regular dentist for cleanings to anything else I need done!

Charges for fillings way to much. They wanted to charge $300+ for a regular white filling where another dentist would only charge half. Front desk bad with paperwork and kept calling for SSN to file insurance when they had the right one the whole time but messed it up on their filling.

Update: I did not have the wrong office. This is the office I went to. By the way, I did my crown in this office and they made it way to thin on the top. It cracked after about 3 years of use. I had to pay for another crown.

I have been visiting Oceanview dental for over 2 years now. I had braces as a young child that caused extensive recession in my gums. I was a little apprehensive of what to do about it. I was a football player in school, and also had a few teeth with bonding and caps to correct them.

I had always wanted perfect straight teeth, and through Oceanview Dental, Dr. Hargas, and his great staff, Dr. Perelman went the extra mile (or two or three) to help get me the perfect, straight, white teeth I had always wanted by using high-quality veneers!

The staff was extremely friendly, and I visit the office every 3 months for a teeth cleaning; which gets me in and out of there during a lunch break.

I will soon be revisiting to have my lower veneers done, and I can't wait for the picture perfect smile I have always dreamed of as a child actor.

I have been a patient at Oceanview Dental for 23 years and the staff is nothing but the best! Six years ago I had 18 porcelain veneers done by Dr. Hargas. The procedure was well worth it! Before I got the veneers, you couldn't even see my teeth when I smiled. I'm so glad that I had the procedure. I had to yelp Oceanview Dental because I just went in for a cleaning yesterday and it was great as usual! I only waited about 10 minutes for Laurie the hygienist to get started. Afterwards, Dr. Hargas came in to exam my veneers and make sure everything was looking good.

I highly recommend Oceanview Dental! The office is awesome with an ocean mural and beautiful fish tank in the waiting room, the staff is friendly, and most importantly the doctors are thorough!

Love love love everyone at this office! I have such a phobia of going to the dentist and they made the experience completely enjoyable for me (the nitrous helped too ) the hygienist Laurie and Dr. Linn are gentle and take extra strides to make sure you are comfortable and pain free.
