Matt S.San Marcos, CA01Mar 14, 2024Had my first appointment with Coast Dental on March 5th and they were great! They didn't try to sell me anything and just told me what the issues are and how to fix them. I would highly recommend this place. They are down-to-earth, professional, and friendly.

I had a deep clean of my gums yesterday and it was very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable and pain free.

Lindsay M.San Diego, CA6192Sep 20, 2023I've seen tons of dentists, but Dr. Maddox is by far, my favorite! He wants to get to know you and educate you. He doesn't try to sell you anything like many dentists I've known and just wants to make sure you're treated properly. No unnecessary procedures, just honest and friendly service. I recommend him and his staff to everyone in the area.

Coast dental staff is absolutely the nicest place to get your teeth cleaned and work done. It's easy to use my FSA card to pay for my crowns etc.. My cleans have always been a pleasant experience and I have been going to this office for 11 years.

Dr. Maddocks has been my dentist since I moved to San Diego in 2007. He is friendly and knowledgeable, always explaining procedures with care. His whole staff is also excellent. In all these years, I have no complaints, truly !!

Russell J.Vista, CA0153May 4, 2022Updated reviewIf you look at my previous posts it will come as no surprise that Dr. Maddocks and his team are head and shoulders above the competition. I've been coming here for 20+ years and many tenured employees are still there. His right hand man Danny and I have become friends over time and it is always nice to be treated with such courteous professionalism, and to be known by first name. Today I had an emergency and despite being booked solid they fit me in and understood the urgency of my visit. If you are able to be taken as a new patient I would highly suggest seeking a partnership with this practice. Many have anxiety when it comes to seeing a dentist [myself included], but here it is on more of a personal level and they care about their customers which shows. Thank you again to Dr. Maddocks and his team... you are truly the best!!!

They all care about the customer's well being and have great customer service... tv's even in the operating room if you want to catch up on discovery channel while you wait (like me). Great service.... family owned and operated. The doctor is an oral surgeon as well if necessary which was a relief for me years ago. Went in today for a cleaning (everthing checked out good/better now that i stopped smoking)... they are busy for a reason. They are the best. Thanks for your great service.
RussSep 20, 2014Previous reviewI have been a patient of Dr. Maddocks and his crew for 17+ years. I have a fear of dentists from the past but i actually enjoy going here. His staff is a very friendly and professional veteran group that have been there for a long time. I would not go anywhere else and recommend him to all my family and friends. I believe he is also an awarded oral surgeon. Everything done is in house. Great service at a VERY reasonable price. You get what you pay for and its rare to find such an honest person. I will be a lifelong customer. :)
