Oceanside Museum of Art educates and inspires the public through a diverse range of engaging exhibitions and programs that connect people with regional, as well as national and global artists and artforms of the 20th and 21st centuries. Housed in side-by-side buildings designed by two of southern California’s most renowned Modernist architects, Irving Gill and Frederick Fisher, the museum has four rotating galleries and presents more than 12 exhibitions a year. In addition to a progressive exhibition schedule OMA offers concerts, lectures, docent tours, Free Family Art Days, Art After Dark, Artists@Work and unique, hand-crafted gifts in the OMA Museum Store. Museum hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Free admission the first Sunday of every month.
