Food was below average and I couldn't even finish my meal. No reason to bother trying this place unless you are desperate to get kids feed quickly.
It's really not worth the price.
The kids did enjoy their cheese pizza and noodles with butter.
I got 'specialty' sausage and penne dish. Wife got the penne and asparagus and the cousins got the Marsala. All 3 were half eaten and regretted.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 3, 2024
The place had a nice atmosphere and everyone was friendly. We went early on a Friday night and it was about half full so we got great service.
We ordered two appetizers, two specials and a pepperoni pizza for the teen.
Garlic Knots with marinara were good. Fried Mozzarella block was meh and unfortunately came after we finished the garlic knots.
Linguine Pescatore was really flavorful with plenty of seafood and delicious sauce.
I ordered the Stuffed Eggplant Florentine because menu said it was fresh. While it tasted ok it definitely wasn't fresh because when you know you know. I wouldn't get it again.
The teen liked the pizza so that's a plus.
We had plenty of leftovers because the portions were generous.
The reason for three stars.
We were too full for dessert but interested in chatting a little more. We were asked to leave after only being there an hour total because they needed to place three tables together for a large party. Weird.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Andre S.San Diego, CA09May 5, 2024

The BEST Italian in the SoCal area. Cheese wheels are cool but home grown businesses are essential to our thriving community. Highly recommend stopping by and giving their specials a try! Thank you so much Pino and Daniele. We can't wait to come back

Omg! AMAZING! I'm not from Oceanside and decided to swing by for some Italian on our way back home to OC. I am soooo glad we did!
I have been craving a creamy pesto for so long! I ordered a penne pasta prepared in pesto with grilled chicken. De-Lightful!
My hubby ordered a Sea-bass and it was perfectly prepared and paired so well with a tasty sautéed spinach. Hats off to the chef!
For desert, we had a lemon sorbet and peach sorbet, each came in the fruit it was made of! Brilliant! I'm so impressed with this place!
Waiter Devin and the owner Pino were so friendly and very attentive. I will definitely be back very soon!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - KC P.Carlsbad, CA0104163Jan 19, 2024
Definitely delicious! Wish I tried this place sooner. The staff were amazing and extremely kind. The food was amazing and I can't wait to go back. They gave us some garlic knots to start with. Then we moved into the calamari, which needed a tiny bit of salt. Crunchy and tender! Soo good with a side of their marinara. I had the lobster ravioli with a mild red sauce with peppers. It was delicious my friend had a veal dish that had lemon and capers. She truly enjoyed her meal. Their tiramisu was perfect and a true tiramisu. Bravo!!!

Ok I grew up eating at my Sicilian grandparents house every Sunday so I'm often disappointed when I go out for Italian.
The spaghetti and meat sauce with meatballs at Venetos was as good as Grammas! That NEVER happens.
The tiramisu was the best I have EVER had.Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 0
