Fat Joe's O'side

This place is a hidden diamond mine. For those of us who spent waaaaay too much money on arcades in our youth, this is a blast from the past. My buddy who has lived in Oceanside for more than a decade and "had the munchies" a lot took me here. The carne asada California Burrito here is far and away the best one I have ever had. The fries in it are crispy, the meat is well seasoned and it was enough for 2 meals for me. The green salsa on top was a designer cherry in a top shelf mix.
Service was extremely attentive, friendly and helpful.
The number of beers they have on tap was more than enough for even the pickiest of beer snobs and prices were awesome.
If you can't have fun and enjoy yourself here then you need to take a look at you because this place is definitely worth visiting more than once.

Food is great the Western Burger is my favorite

They are Messy but delicious. Stuffed full with onion rings,tomato in a super bun. The fries are fresh fried per order. Hugh assortment of beers on tap.

Came in on a Tuesday night not busy. The vibe was cool, the games were very reasonable so it's not ripping you off. The service was nice and super spacey. The food was actually very good!!! We had hamburgers, fries, wings, California burrito and tator tots. The only complaint were the wings. They weren't crunchy and had a strong vinegar taste. But to each their own. The pricing was also good for the amount of food we got. Didn't spend a lot. The coke there was also eh, not crisp. But drinkable. My husband enjoy the beer selections. Would recommend!!

Great spot with a full bar and great food. They also have a variety of video games and pinball machines and a two lane bowling alley.

I started out with a local IPA recommended by the bartender. Opted for the Western Burger . It was cooked perfectly at medium and the fries were crispy. The service was quick and attentive for a mid week lunch stop.
The atmosphere was chill and I was able to play 6 pinball machines without waiting, $1-2 per game. I left a few free games on the pinball machines for the next lucky patron.
Hope to come back again to see what gets cycled back in.

With how fair & reasonably priced their tasty food is (plus their specials and a $5 Joe's IPA!)... I can't help but come back at least twice a week! Just enticing enough to put the place at the front of my mind when hungry and to discourage me from eating elsewhere most days haha -While never disappointed! Also the nicest most down to earth people here, both staff and customers!

My son who loves pinball was visiting from Portland. He said Joes was recommended by PDX pinballers. We went after his birthday dinner. Really bright and friendly looking place. Like 8pm. A few kids with families up front area eating. In back area, bar and 10 pinball machines. We had a few beers and enjoyed PB games. Also a Golden Tee golf game and air hockey. Lots of TVs with sports on. Recommend this place for fun , beer and watching games.

Walked in an hour before closing and it was the most awkward cringey situation I've ever felt in my life. If you watch the SpongeBob movie when Patrick and SpongeBob walk into the bar and everyone stops talking and stares at them, that's exactly how I felt. We walked by the bar and it was nothing but depressing. The bartender didn't even say hello. I walked out of there so fast

Yay to Fat Joes for surviving the pandemic. They got a permanent sign now too!

So let's talk about the wings. The teriyaki wings are incredible - they taste like sesame honey goodness! On wing Wednesday they are half off. Taco Tuesday tacos are half off.

Online ordering using Yelp. Wings were solid. Minus one star since the app let's you order a breakfast burrito in the afternoon, when they aren't actually available. Unfortunately this resulted in missing food for our group.

Great burgers! I loved the corn dogs as well very well cooked and great location! I will definitely be coming back with friends.
